Max Maslen was an early member of the Knightmare Community, around the time of its fledgling days in the early 2000s. His contributions to the Knightmare Forum were popular, and for a while he was a channel operator (op) in both Knightmare Chat and the NKTP chatroom. His IRC handle was "Y2K_Max".

Max' longest-lasting contribution to the community, however, is that he suggested the name "Jobe" to Neil Jones. Neil named his bot "Jobe" purely due to this suggestion.
